Focused on addressing pressing issues within the healthcare landscape, discussions at the program revolve around tackling nursing shortages, devising strategies for workplace violence prevention, harnessing the potential of telehealth, evolving nursing care delivery models, integrating AI, and so much more. Attendees engage in meaningful dialogues, sharing their experiences and insights while also fostering collaborative solutions to drive positive change in the healthcare industry. The Congress features an array of formats including keynotes, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and collaborative roundtable sessions, allowing for comprehensive exploration and networking opportunities. Topics Of Discussion

In today’s fast-paced and demanding healthcare industry, the prevalence of burnout is on the rise. This keynote session is designed to provide valuable insights and practical strategies for healthcare executives to thrive in their careers without sacrificing their personal lives. By addressing burnout head-on and providing actionable solutions, participants will leave inspired and equipped to thrive in their careers while safeguarding their well-being and personal lives.

In 2013, the Lucian Leape Institute published a white paper Through the Eyes of the Workforce: Creating Joy, Meaning and Safer Health Care in support of the need to care for caregivers. In addition, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) provided a framework for improving Joy in Work to address burnout in healthcare. Fast forward to 2024, in a post-pandemic era, addressing burnout in healthcare remains an elusive aspiration. Or is it? This session will engage participants in the discovery of strategies to cultivate joy and resilience in nursing.

This discussion serves as a comprehensive guide on nursing leadership, workplace violence prevention, and establishing a positive, open-door culture to ensure a secure and supportive environment for our teams. We’ll look at core topics such as communication, mentorship and adaptability in nursing, while also discussing workplace violence and the proactive measures we can take to prevent and manage violent incidents. Lastly, we’ll really delve into how to foster a culture of trust and support so that our teams feel comfortable coming to us about these situations.

During this session we will cover the impact that the National Health Care Shortage has in driving Healthcare administrators to implement new Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms. The health care industry has opportunities to embrace technology solutions that will support workforce needs, help leadership with Human Capital Management (HCM) and improve the patient experience to obtain better outcomes.

Solutions that are cost effective and have metrics to demonstrate financial and clinical success will be discussed. Health Care Administrators are challenged with finding the right solution that can be adopted within their organizational culture. Offering some key indicators to monitor so that as you invest in your team you see the value of using technology that leads us into the future.

In this panel, we will delve into the pivotal role of academic partnerships in addressing the challenges of recruiting and retaining nursing talent while facilitating the smooth transition of nurses into the profession. We will explore the current hurdles in attracting new talent and effective recruitment strategies to combat this. We’ll also take a look at how to leverage collaborations between academic institutions and our organizations, while creating a more engaging workplace environment that fosters job satisfaction and resilience.

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Triple Aim framework serves as a foundation for leaders and organizations to optimize the overall health and perception of care for the patients and communities in which they serve. Introduced in 2008, the goals of the Triple Aim are to improve healthcare outcomes, decrease per capita costs associated with that care, and improve the overall patient experience. Fifteen years later, the Triple Aim remains an unattainable goal due to organizational challenges, governmental policy changes, and other barriers. This informative session will provide insight on the Triple Aim and strategies to achieve the goal amidst an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Authentic and lasting change requires a human experience mindset by understanding the needs of all individuals who are receiving and delivering care in our organization. A human experience mindset is rooted through effective listening and leveraging robust data to identify disparities and opportunities. In this session, participants will learn how to incorporate a multi-dimensional approach to examine the human experience from multiple touchpoints. This human-centric approach will reveal concrete and actionable insights to effectively predict gaps and anticipate individuals’ needs by looking at data from every angle and advance experiences of care.

In this session, we will tackle the lack of cohesiveness across the nursing field and focus on how nurses can identify and address teamwork failures contributing to poor team function. Understanding where and why teamwork may falter is essential to providing high-quality patient care. Together we will look at the root causes of teamwork failures within healthcare teams and their impact on patient outcomes. We’ll also delve into strategies for fostering better communication, trust, and collaboration among our team members, while breaking down how to build a comprehensive framework for patient-centered care that prioritizes the patient’s experience and outcomes.

This was an exceptional opportunity for growth for me and a terrific experience. I love it. I will keep coming as long as Bridgemark has this CNO/CIO conference

Daniel Wright

It was wonderful meeting different nursing executives throughout the country and spend intimate time with them. Often, many conferences are so large it’s hard to really network and get to know others. This was perfect size and content.
